A manifesto for large carnivore conservation in Europe
Author: John Linnell/Monday, July 1, 2013/Categories: News
The Large Carnivore Initiative for Europe has seen the need to develop a detailed and clearly articulated set of principles for how we believe that the conservation of large carnivores can be best achieved in Europe. During 2012-2013 we have developed these ideas into a manifesto that outlines both our underlying philosophy and some concrete ideas about the best approaches to conservation. The manifesto has been developed by all members of the Specialist Group and has been formally reviewed and approved by the IUCN.
