LCIE member Peep Männil from Estonia was recently awarded a medal, the Order of the White Star (V class), by the President of Estonia in recognition of his work for wildlife conservation.The medal ceremony was part of the country's 100 year celebrations. The Estonian public has also voted the wolf as the national animal. We congradulate both Peep on his medal and Estonia on their recognition of the positive symbolism associated with the wolf.
